Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as a New Car Porter Lot Attendant and become the vital link that keeps our dealership running smoothly! In this energetic role, you'll be the first to welcome new vehicles onto our lot, ensuring they are moved, organized, and presented impeccably. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for both our team and customers. Responsibilities Safely maneuver new vehicles onto the dealership lot, ensuring proper placement and organization according to lot layout. Assist with vehicle movement around the lot, including parking, repositioning, and staging for customer viewings or service appointments. Perform light maintenance tasks such as cleaning vehicles and checking for any visible damages or issues. Support dealership staff by delivering vehicles between the lot, service department, and showroom as needed. Maintain a clean and organized lot environment by removing debris and ensuring clear pathways for vehicle movement. Communicate effectively with team members regarding vehicle status, lot conditions, and customer requests. Assist with vehicle deliveries and customer pick-ups. Perform routine lot inspections and report any vehicle damage or maintenance concerns. Skills Prior dealership or automotive service experience is highly desirable. Ability to operate standard passenger cars confidently; familiarity with manual transmissions is a plus. Capable of heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions. Bilingual abilities can enhance communication with diverse customers and team members. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively within a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Valid non-suspended and active Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record. Must pass Background check, drug screen and MVR Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
