Moxee, WA Job Details Full-time $17.41 - $17.93 an hour 8 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Ensure that the children are transported in a safe, timely, and appropriate manner. Ensuring that the work is done in accordance with the service delivery plan, ECEAP Performance Standards, State licensing requirements and agency policies and procedures.Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that children enter and exit the bus in a safe manner, remain seated while bus is in motion, and ensure that children are released to listed authorized person(s) in accordance with EPIC Policies. 2. Assure that age-appropriate guidance and activities for children are maintained on the bus, in accordance with agency standards. 3. Remain with the children in case of an emergency while the bus driver seeks help. 4. Relay communications between home and school to appropriate parents and staff. 5. Communicate regularly with parents, encouraging them to attend school events and to become involved in the center. 6. Attend all training sessions and meetings as required. 7. Transportation Assistants working two (2) bus runs daily will participate in the classroom. May work up to 40 hours per week, including time on the bus. 8. Complete required paperwork as assigned, including attendance roster and absentee slips. 9. May need to assist in other areas when needed. 10. Maintain a safe, healthy and sanitary environment ensuring that children are supervised at all times; respond quickly to crisis or emergency situations that may occur; provide first aid, CPR, and access emergency services as needed. 11. While in the classroom, assist in implementing classroom activities and preparing materials and supplies. 12. Implement, support, and promote policies and procedures for Child Abuse and Neglect, Child Guidance and Active Supervision. 13. Be committed to applying EPIC's Core values to daily work by maintaining professionalism, accountability, consistency with program standards, and promptly reporting observed concerns through appropriate channels and following our Speak Up, Speak Out guidelines. 14. Actively participate in center family nights, parent meetings, staff meetings, professional development opportunities and all relevant center activities.Working Conditions/Physical/ Mental Abilities and Processes:
