Overview The Jonesboro Country Club is searching for an Assistant Racquets Professional to join our dynamic team and become a vital part of creating an engaging, energetic, and welcoming environment for all tennis and racquet sport enthusiasts. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting private lessons, assisting with after-school junior groups, assisting with adult clinics, assisting with special events and encouraging participation in the racquet sports program. Experience giving pickleball lessons is a plus but not a requirement. The hours are flexible but you should expect to work at least 30 hours per week. This position is well suited for someone who is motivated to make money. There is an outstanding opportunity to fill your lesson book. We currently have about 80 kids in our junior program with a robust adult program as well. Requirements of the position include, but are not limited to: Must have

USTA, RSPA, PTR

certification or the willingness to attain. Certification as a tournament director or referee is preferred. If not certified, must have the willingness to attain. Provide exceptional service to the membership and maintain professional conduct and attire. Help promote the club's programs to the membership. Ability to string racquets or the willingness to learn. Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of racquets courts, equipment, and clubhouse facilities to ensure a professional environment. Provide excellent client communication by answering questions about programs, scheduling lessons, and offering friendly assistance to members and guests. Operate AED (Automated External Defibrillator) devices in emergency situations while adhering to first aid and CPR guidelines. Contribute to creating a positive experience for participants by encouraging sportsmanship, teamwork, and active participation.

Compensation :

Assistant Racquets Pro will receive 75% of all private lessons, private clinics and team lessons. Assistant Racquets Pro will receive an hourly rate for junior clinics. Assistant Racquets Pro will receive 85% of all playdays, 1-day junior tournaments, pickleball tournaments, etc. The Assistant Racquets Pro is also encouraged to create special events on their own. Assistant Racquets Pro will receive at-cost pricing on all equipment and apparel. Jonesboro Country Club is the premier club in NE Arkansas with approximately 450 members and is situated in the heart of Jonesboro. The Club has 5 outdoor lighted courts and 3 outdoor pickleball courts, all constructed with post tension concrete to provide an exceptional outdoor surface. The Club also has an indoor tennis center with 3 newly resurfaced courts and a recently remodeled interior. There is a Pro Shop that is owned by the Director of Racquet Sports. In addition, the Club has an 18-hole championship level golf course and a vibrant social calendar. The working environment of the Club is unmatched in the country club industry.
