This role supports a variety of recreational programs and community events, working with residents of all ages in a fun, active, and team-oriented environment. SPECIAL NOTE
Requires non-standard or rotating shift work and will not exceed 29 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, coordination, and supervision of recreational programs and special events Set up and break down equipment and supplies for activities Interact with program participants in a positive and professional manner Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees Provide administrative and logistical support to recreation staff Help maintain cleanliness and organization of facilities and program areas

The ideal candidate for the Recreation Aide position is an energetic, reliable, and community-minded individual who enjoys working with people of all ages. They are enthusiastic about promoting active lifestyles and community engagement through recreational programs and special events. This candidate is a team player with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in helping others have fun in a safe, welcoming environment. They are comfortable taking initiative, assisting with program logistics, and adapting to a dynamic work setting that may include evenings, weekends, and outdoor activities. Prior experience in recreation, education, or customer service is a plus, but a willingness to learn and grow is even more important.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years of age 1-3 years' experience in youth or adult recreation or educational programs CPR/First Aid certification at hire. (Dept. will train) Valid Driver License Why Join Us?
