Position Summary The Rental Attendant monitors the implementation of assigned recreation activities and program supervision of renters in the building, working directly with clients and other staff as needed. Pay Range $20.00/hr. - $22.00/hr. Essential Functions Developing relationships with and contacting prospective renters Supervisor weekend gym rentals groups. Supervise members, programs, and activities assigned. Enforce facility safety rules, regulations and procedures. Ensure accurate rental rates match the pricing spreadsheet. Coordinate rental events and serve as the on-site representative when required. Review rental request to prevent conflicts with the Corps and church calendars. Open and close the facility to ensure the property is secure. Assist with marketing efforts and promotion to increase rental usage. Must remain flexible to work split shifts as operational needs require. Complete check list each shift. Complete and report all accidents and injuries if necessary. Other duties assigned Working Conditions Must be able to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Must be able to grasp, push and pull objects such as general office and small recreational equipment. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. High School diploma or equivalent required Must complete certification for Protect the Mission policies and procedures. Background check required Valid California Driver License Knowledge of Microsoft office with ability to learn additional software as appropriate Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Driving Test and clean MVR check (if applicable). Bilingual/Bi-literate English/Spanish is preferred. Must have ability to work with, direct, and relate well with co-workers, community members, and guests/clients. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Able to function in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment. Must possess good relationship skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including mainly weekends and evenings as needed. High School or Equivalent or better.
