Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Youth Sports Coach and Supervisor to lead and oversee youth sports programs. This role involves coaching children in various sports (soccer, basketball, flag football, Volleyball) ensuring a safe and engaging environment, and managing program activities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, experience working with children, and strong leadership skills to foster teamwork, discipline, and fun among young participants. Unique commission pay added for your role and supervisor. On top of your coaching hourly wage, you can earn a bonus commission for every participant in the programs you coach. Responsibilities Plan, organize, and lead youth sports programs at different elementary schools preschools and Montessori schools. Supervise children during sessions, to ensure safe and fun games. Manage equipment, set up, clean up, and coach rosters. Help and develop growth in other coaches, kids, and self growth in the Sports X philosophy. Lead by example in demonstrating sportsmanship, respect, and enthusiasm for physical activity. Requirements Prior experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is highly preferred. Your own means of transportation to and from different locations for our sessions.
Typically in the following areas:
(Torrance, Gardena, Long Beach) Availability for after school programs 1:30-4:00 pm. (Time varies based on location) Experience working with children or in childcare settings is essential. Strong skills in behavior management to handle diverse student needs effectively. Ability to engage children through teaching methods that promote learning and enjoyment of sports. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff. First Aid and CPR certified. Enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for youth development through sports activities.
