We provide a warm, resident-centered environment focused on physical, mental, and emotional well-being. We are seeking a compassionate, high-energy Activities Assistant to join our clinical team and bring joy, engagement, and meaningful experiences to our residents daily. Position Overview As an Activities Assistant, you will work alongside our Activities Director to design, plan, and run diverse wellness and recreation programs. Your creativity will directly support individual and group therapeutic programs tailored to residents' physical and psychosocial needs. Key Responsibilities Lead activities. Direct group and one-on-one recreational events daily. Encourage participation. Inspire residents to join games, music, arts, and crafts. Document progress. Maintain accurate daily attendance logs and progress notes. Set up events. Transport residents safely to and from activity areas. Maintain safety. Keep the activity spaces clean, organized, and secure. Provide desk support. Assist with occasional receptionist and phone duties as needed. Requirements & Qualifications Education. High school diploma or equivalent certification. Experience. Experience in senior care, skilled nursing, or memory care preferred. Traits. Excellent communication, patient demeanor, and a positive attitude. Physical ability. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active on your feet. Availability.
