Approximately 6 months, with possible 1-2 month extension About the Position Inland Christian Home is a faith-based, nonprofit senior living community dedicated to providing quality, individualized care, in a Christian environment. We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Temporary Full-Time Activity Assistant to join our Skilled Nursing team. This position will provide temporary coverage during an employee leave and is expected to last approximately six months, with the possibility of extending an additional one to two months. Rotating Schedule Week 1: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Hours are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. The two-week schedule repeats. Applicants must be available to work the full rotating schedule, including Sundays. What You'll Do Assist with group and individual resident activities. Lead games, crafts, music, social events, celebrations, exercise, and recreational programs. Encourage residents to participate based on their interests, abilities, and preferences. Provide one-on-one activities and meaningful interaction with residents. Assist residents to and from activities as needed. Set up and clean up activity areas, supplies, and equipment. Assist with special events, holiday programs, and resident celebrations. Maintain activity attendance and other required documentation. Work closely with other departments to support resident quality of life. Treat residents with dignity, compassion, patience, and respect. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience working with seniors, skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, memory care, activities, recreation, or caregiving is preferred. Friendly, dependable, patient, creative, and compassionate. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Comfortable working with residents with varying physical and cognitive abilities. Must meet applicable background, health screening, and other requirements for employment in a California skilled nursing environment. Must be available for the complete rotating schedule. Temporary Position This is a temporary full-time position intended to provide coverage during an employee leave. The assignment is anticipated to last approximately six months and may be extended for an additional one to two months based on operational needs.
