The purpose of the Senior Center is to help seniors stay healthy, socially connected, and active to avoid isolation and "age-in-place." Job responsibilities include: helping provide daily transportation to and from the Senior Center using agency vehicles; participating in program activities that promote healthy aging; providing direct service and support to program participants. Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Gerontology, with a minimum of one year experience working with older adults. A valid California driver license is also required, along with own automobile and insurance; good driving record. The typical work day is 8 am-4 pm, but may vary based on the activities of the program.
