Job Description
Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Activities Coordinator, you will be instrumental in bringing joy and engagement to our residents' lives by supporting and facilitating enriching activities. Every day, you will assist with the preparation, implementation, and cleanup of various daily activities, directly interacting with residents to encourage participation and provide support. You will help create a welcoming and fun environment for all. To be successful in this role, you will be compassionate, energetic, and possess strong interpersonal skills. Your ability to connect with residents and contribute to a positive team environment will be highly valued. Create and distribute monthly activity calendar. Responsible for maintaining and distributing quarterly newsletter Creates and implements variety of physical and mental activities for the residents, meets their social, recreational, rehabilitative, spiritual and leisure needs. Researches resources, phone calls, and computer work. Conducts errands, shopping, and special one to one needs of the residents. Provides transportation to the Residents for property outings. Gives directions to caregivers for specific activities, provides support, role models initiating, conducting and terminating activities. Keeps the residents activity fund current. Job Requirements Required High School Graduate General Studies or 2 years of work experience, upon hire or High School GED General Studies or 2 years of work experience, upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30
