Job Summary We are seeking an energetic, creative, and compassionate Full-Time Activities Assistant to join our vibrant life enrichment team. In this role, you will help plan, organize, and lead daily activities that bring joy, engagement, and a sense of community to our residents. If you love connecting with seniors and making a meaningful difference every day, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Lead group activities including arts and crafts, music, games, and discussion groups. Conduct one-on-one visits with residents who cannot attend group events. Assist in planning monthly activity calendars and decorating the facility for holidays. Set up activity rooms and transport residents safely to and from events. Document resident participation and progress according to regulatory guidelines. Encourage and motivate residents to maintain their hobbies and social connections. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a skilled nursing, assisted living, or long-term care setting preferred. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Outgoing personality with a passion for serving the elderly population. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team. Flexibility to work occasional weekends or holidays as needed.
