Excellent benefits offered. The primary focus of the job will be to stimulate residents with therapeutic activities and exercises to meet their social, physical and cognitive needs. Expectations of the job will be to assist with daily activities in the areas of: Socialization, achieved through activities such as group discussion and conversation, recreation, arts, crafts, music, sing-a-long etc. Daily living skills and activities to foster and maintain independent functioning Leisure time activities cultivating personal interests and pursuits and encouraging engagement with other residents. Physical activities such as games, sports and exercise which develop and maintain strength, coordination and range of motion Education classes such as current events etc. All candidates must possess a High School diploma / GED, have a clean and clear background, possess the ability to communicate effectively in English written and verbally, and have ability to work weekends and holidays.
