MUST LOVE DOGS
- Full Time or Part Time person, looking to work with dogs. Certified Camp Counselor Work for one of the fastest growing North American companies in the pet care industry! In this position, you will play a critical role in inspiring happy, healthy pets and happy, healthy people. We also have entry level to upper level management opportunities for those who intend to make the pet industry a career path. This job requires the ability to care for dogs of all breeds and sizes.
Care includes:
cleaning, monitoring up to 15 dogs at one time, playing, and of course handing out treats. This position has both full and part time openings. The Scoop on the
Job:
Monitor dogs in play areas, maintain a clean environment and manage dog behavior Maintaining a clean & safe environment Cleaning cabins, play yards, and lifting heavy items Constantly walking and interacting with dogs and team members Engaging with dogs and monitoring their physical and mental behavior Communicate effectively and work in a team environment Job requirements: Love for ALL breeds and dogs of all sizes At least 17 years of age or older Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) and holidays Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week Punctual, reliable and dependable Time management skills Reliable transportation Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, push or pull 40+ lbs. Ability to reach overhead Ability to reach at or below shoulder level Ability to control and withstand resistance from dogs of all sizes on leash Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to squat and kneel Ability to see, hear, and communicate verbally Our employees get to enjoy the following benefits: Tips Bring your dog to work with you for free!
