Directs employee duties and activities, and assures program plans for clients are conducted as required.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Client/Customer Support Assures clients' daily activities are appropriately carried out. Observes, tracks and assures service implementation as specified in program plans, as assigned. Assists Supervisor in meeting all aspects of production contracts, as assigned. Manages clients' behavioral problems and other crises. Follows agency policies and procedures regarding incidents of Mistreatment, Abuse, Neglect or Exploitation (MANE). Maintains client confidentiality and assures rights are protected. Assists in providing direct support to clients as necessary. Safety Assures program's emergency plans are relevant and current, as assigned. Follows agency and site-specific safety and emergency procedures and evacuation plans; maintains a safe facility. Follows training and instructions to ensure safe equipment and vehicle operation. Assists Supervisor in complying with all relevant state and federal health and safety regulations and guidelines. Assures medications are accounted for and dispensed properly (as applicable). Assures medication sheets are properly documented (as applicable). Documentation Prepares and tracks program documentation. Assists Supervisor in preparing documentation/reports for program plans and operations; files documentation as assigned. Completes vehicle maintenance and monthly attendance documentation as directed. Communication/Coordination Communicates, in an appropriate, respectful and effective manner, relevant day-to-day and emergency information to, from and between the program, families, customers, and other involved agencies and their respective employees, as directed. Follows appropriate lines of communication and assures that Supervisor (or designee) is well informed. Site/Equipment Maintenance Follows agency procedures in assuring agency vehicles are cleaned and maintained, as appropriate. Appropriately documents use of agency funds.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Maintains necessary training and certifications. Excellent oral and written communication skills; effectively communicates with participants, clients, families, employees and others. Effectively writes, reviews and implements plans. Professionally interacts with a diverse group of individuals. Ability to work flexible hours, locations and assignments. Ability to use department-approved crisis intervention techniques. Ability to meet physical demands of the position. Working knowledge of basic computer programs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or
GED OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must be 21 years of age with a good driving record. Valid Colorado motor vehicle license. Ability to meet and maintain agency driving requirements and operate agency vehicles. Proof of adequate motor vehicle insurance.
