Job Description
Job Overview 3rd Shot Pickleball is hiring team members to lead and support our Summer Kids Camps , designed for ages 7-10 and 10+ . This is not just a pickleball camp—we offer a full-day experience that blends sports, games, and creative activities to keep kids engaged, active, and having fun throughout the day. From pickleball drills and gameplay to relay races, scavenger hunts, themed activities, and more, this role is all about creating an organized, energetic, and memorable camp environment. Fun, active, and social work environment Opportunity to lead and shape a growing youth program Consistent weekday hours throughout the summer Be part of one of the premier indoor pickleball facilities in the Denver area Duties Oversee and run daily camp operations for groups of 8-16 kids Lead pickleball instruction, drills, and organized gameplay Plan and manage a structured daily schedule of activities Ensure a safe, inclusive, and high-energy environment Manage transitions between activities and keep camp on schedule Communicate with parents at drop-off and pick-up Handle behavior management and conflict resolution Coordinate with staff and front desk as needed Camp Structure Each day includes a mix of: Warm-ups and skill-building Pickleball drills and games Water/snack breaks and lunch Group activities such as: Relay races Scavenger hunts Tie-dye and creative projects "Choose your activity" periods Themed days (e.g., pizza party, fun competitions) Experience Experience working with kids (camps, coaching, teaching, childcare, etc.) Positive, high-energy attitude and strong communication skills Ability to manage groups and keep kids engaged throughout the day Organized and comfortable following a structured schedule Reliable and punctual Preferred (Not Required) Experience running camps or youth programs Coaching or sports instruction experience CPR/First Aid certification Basic knowledge of pickleball (or willingness to learn)
