Complete Equestrian Summer Camp Counselor Dates:
May 26- August 19, 2026 Job Description Our summer camp is seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and responsible individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors for our Equestrian Summer Camp. The camp runs from Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and provides a well-rounded experience for campers, including horseback riding lessons, educational activities, arts and crafts, games, and daily chores. As a counselor, you will be responsible for creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment for campers, while helping to foster their love for horses and nature. You'll play a key role in guiding campers through their daily activities, ensuring they are engaged, learning, and most importantly, having fun! Key Responsibilities Assist with leading horseback riding lessons and ensure campers are comfortable and safe during lessons. Supervise and engage campers in a variety of activities, including educational sessions, art projects, and team-building games. Guide and help campers with daily chores. Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment, encouraging teamwork, personal growth, and horse-related learning. Be a supportive and caring role model, providing emotional support to campers as needed. Help maintain safety protocols and ensure campers adhere to camp rules and guidelines. Be an active participant in camp activities, promoting enthusiasm and a positive atmosphere. Job Requirements A High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED), or equivalent required. Experience instructing youth riding in beginning through advanced levels. Ability to lift up to 80 pounds approximately four times per day. Ability to work in inclement weather, including dust, moist, hot and cold conditions. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
