Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Outfitter to join our team and support our mission of delivering exceptional service and expertise to our customers. The Outfitter will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and managing outdoor equipment and gear in accordance with safety standards and manufacturing processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to outdoor adventure and customer satisfaction. Duties Assemble outdoor equipment and gear using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments according to technical drawings and manufacturing specifications. Interpret production documents to ensure accurate assembly and quality control. Operate forklifts and manual handling equipment safely to move heavy or bulky items within the facility. Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet safety standards and manufacturing specifications. Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety protocols and lean manufacturing principles. Assist in process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing waste. Collaborate with manufacturing management to meet production deadlines while maintaining high safety standards. Skills Proficiency in operating forklifts, power tools, and hand tools within a manufacturing environment. Experience with factory or manufacturing facility operations, including assembly line processes. Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documents accurately. Mechanical knowledge related to assembly, mechanical systems, and product components. Familiarity with measuring instruments used in precision assembly. Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols. Experience with process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing. Ability to manage production or assembly teams effectively while maintaining high-quality standards. Manual handling skills for heavy lifting safely within the workspace. Technical proficiency with tools and equipment used in mechanical assembly. Pay:
$15.16 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 32.0 per week
