Our caring team provides personal support in a warm and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. We invite a compassionate and dynamic individual to join us as a Residential Aide for the unit. This role requires collaboration as a team member of the assigned unit to assist counseling staff in delivering a range of alcohol and drug-related services by performing various duties. Please note that all applicants must undergo a pre-employment drug screening, which includes testing for marijuana, as well as a comprehensive background check and TB test.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assists in maintaining the unit in an organized, clean, and efficient manner. Transports patients to and from appointments, support groups, employment searches, and other related activities. Ensures the security of the assigned unit by adhering to CTP policies and procedures. Responsible for immediately reporting child abuse or neglect to the unit supervisor and area director when applicable. Monitors patients and their activities. Accurately documents the activities of each patient during the assigned shift. Responsible for reporting all patient infractions, concerns, or problems to the primary counselor or supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
:
Education :
Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
Experience :
Must be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn the dynamics of substance misuse, alcohol, and its effects. It is preferred that candidates have prior experience working in a substance misuse setting or a human services agency.
Others :
Able to communicate effectively. Must be able to follow directions. CPR and First-Aid certification (the agency will cover all training and renewal fees). Valid driver's license and insurability. Basic computer skills are necessary for this position. A Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP) certification is preferred but not required.
