Job Description

Fitness Coordinator-Seasonal Full-time JOB Summary The Fitness Coordinator carries out a wide variety of duties related to the operation of the Club's Fitness Center and Exercise Pavilion, including general office tasks, administrative duties and clerical functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
as follows, and other duties as may be assigned. Communicates well with Members, both verbally and in written form. Processes chits throughout the shift via Northstar. Opens and/or ends shift properly and runs daily reports. Answers the telephone with proper phone etiquette, directing Members and guests and providing general information. Schedules and confirms appointments for Members and service providers Assists in covering other shifts as needed especially during peak times of the season. Ability to coordinate group exercise sign-in sheets. Ability to coordinate rental and distribution of bicycles. Maintains good working relationships with all employees in the department and throughout the Club. Provides detailed descriptions and information about services, activities, programs, facility features and hours of operation. Actively promotes classes, programs, and activities. Wears proper uniform and maintains a high standard regarding personal appearance as outlined in the employee handbook. Responsible for any other task assigned by the Director or Manager. Performs all tasks and duties per our Policy and Procedure Manual. Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or GED required and a minimum of one-year related experience. Knowledge of PC's including Microsoft Office Software, Northstar software knowledge preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations The employee must currently be certified in CPR/AED certification or become certified by start of season. Valid Driver's License preferred
