This position is responsible for assisting the team leader and the Area Coordinator in the on-site management of a single HGC location, ensuring that staff, product and shop operations are handled in accordance with See's guidelines and corporate philosophy in the areas of sales goal achievement, customer service, cost control, visual merchandising, policy compliance, and safety.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
(including, but not limited to): 1.In conjunction with the Team Leader, provides leadership to ensure the location operatessmoothly and achieves seasonal goals, while meeting See's standards for customer service,policies and procedures in the Team Lead's absence. 2.Responsible for positively communicating and implementing Company direction, policiesand programs. Delegates and follows up to ensure compliance. Communicates with TeamLeader on results and employee performance. 3.Assisting with training and coaching to all team members to ensure understanding andcompliance with all rules, policies, procedures and programs. Monitors team members'performance, providing appropriate coaching and feedback; works in cooperation with TeamLeader and/or Area Coordinator. 4.Assists with recruiting qualified Team Members for hiring, if needed. Follows companyinterview and selection guidelines. 5.Leads by example to ensure all team members are in compliance with Customer Serviceprogram; Visual Merchandising guidelines; Product Management and Loss Prevention; andWork Rules. Communicates with Team Member and/or Area Coordinator regardingdeviations from the policies and/or procedures. Promotes open, positive communication. 6.Leads by example and assists the Team Leader in providing appropriate coaching, feedback,to shop's team. Assures all written and verbal communication are professional andappropriate. 7.Responsible for ensuring all procedures related to cash handling, protection of See's assetsand banking are followed at all times. 8.Maintains the accuracy and integrity of all timekeeping records. 9.In partnership with Team Leader, implements weekly work schedule and consults with TeamLeader or Area Coordinator when changes are needed due to fluctuation in business volumeand/or due to unexpected staffing needs. 10.Ensures all paperwork is submitted according with established deadlines and protocols. Thisincludes all paperwork related to banking of See's assets/receipts; new hire paperwork; andpaperwork related to changes in employee personal data; sales information; inventory results;etc. 11.Ensures all team members are in compliance with all Safety Program guidelines, includingdaily exercises, reviewing company provided safety topic, accident prevention, reporting,investigation and resolution, Emergency Action Plan, and hold-up procedures. 12.Provides information required by the Area Coordinator and Field Sales Manager accordingto deadlines. 13.Other projects as assigned. 14.All See's staff must be committed to the company's core principles and workplace values, including diversity and inclusion.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Physical ability to carry out the essential functions of the job, including: stocking shelves, ringing sales, standing or walking the entire shift and lifting up to 25 pounds frequently. 2. Minimum 1 year of retail management experience. 3. The ability to adhere to company standards for dress code. 4. Proven success in communicating in positive and effective manner; ability in developing, motivating, training and coaching employees. 5. Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively, and in a positive manner. 6. Experience in cash management and protection of assets. 7. Flexible work schedule, ability to work overtime when business require it.
