Sandhill Cove is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Health Center Activity Assistant (PT/16/wk) to join our team at Water's Edge. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities: Invites and assists residents to and from activity areas for participation. Leads or assists with planned activities following specific instructions as to goal procedures and outcome. Sets up and dismantles activity areas before and after programs. Assists with record keeping documentation and filing.
Physical demands and work environment:
Frequently moderate bending and stooping, standing 50%, ability to push residents in wheelchair. Push, pull or lift to 30 pounds on occasion Works in retirement facility environment with regular exposure to chronically ill and frail elderly.
