We're looking for an enthusiastic Activities Assistant to support the Activities Director in creating fun, meaningful programs that brighten the days of our residents and build a lively, connected community.
What You'll Do:
Help plan, organize, and lead a variety of engaging activities—games, music, crafts, socials, and more—that support residents' physical, social, and emotional well‑being Connect with residents to spark joy, encourage participation, and foster friendships Create inclusive, accessible activities that everyone can enjoy Set up and tidy activity spaces, keeping supplies and equipment organized Participate in team meetings and training to keep programs fresh and exciting Maintain accurate records of resident involvement and activity success Assist with other tasks as needed to support the Activities Director and department
What You Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent Experience with older adults in recreational or social settings is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills A positive, upbeat personality with a genuine passion for helping others Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds Why Join Our Team?
