Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, organizing, and implementation of activities for residents Coordinate and manage the activity schedule for residents Provide support and assistance to residents with activities. Conduct individual and group activities to promote socialization and engagement Assist with the assessment and counseling of aging issues Collaborate with social workers to address the needs of residents
Experience:
Previous experience working in a similar role preferred Knowledge of activity planning and scheduling Familiarity with aging issues and counseling techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment
