Job Description

Colquitt Regional Senior Care is currently hiring an Activities Assistant. The activity assistant will be responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of the activity programs for our residents. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Assist in planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the activity programs of CRMC Senior Care to meet the needs and interests of each resident regardless of his/her cognitive level. Ensure resident-directed plans of care as it relates to each resident's choices in activities. Implement the current activities schedule as directed. Assist in identifying and monitoring the spiritual, social, recreational, and emotional needs and interests of the residents through routine interviews and visits. Assist in providing individual activities to residents as assigned in accordance with the residents' care plans. Develop and maintain a good working relationship with other departments within Senior Care to ensure that activity programs can be properly maintained to meet the needs and interests of the residents. Maintain resident confidentiality and treat them with kindness, dignity, and respect. Maintain and document activity progress notes as well as a record of the residents' activities. Provide information to residents and families that will show activity programs available. Perform all other duties assigned.
