We are looking for an energetic, upbeat, open-minded Fitness Instructor to join our close-knit team at a unique fitness-based therapy center developed specifically to serve the growing autistic population. Our programs are designed for individuals of ALL abilities , including those with motor-planning challenges and individuals who may not thrive in traditional fitness or athletic environments. We take an innovative, whole-body approach to fitness, movement, coordination, and skill development—and we're looking for someone who is excited to learn, contribute, and grow with us. Exercise Science, Sports Science, Kinesiology, or a related field is a plus. We also welcome candidates with relevant education or hands-on experience in areas such as: Health and fitness Strength and conditioning Functional fitness or CrossFit Yoga Athletic training Coaching non-traditional athletes Adaptive fitness Autism or other special-needs populations Experience is valuable, but personality, attitude, reliability, and a genuine desire to learn are equally important to us. What You'll Do You will provide high-quality one-on-one fitness and movement instruction while learning our specialized approach to working with individuals with a wide range of abilities. Training may incorporate innovative tools and techniques including FitLight, Interactive Metronome, yoga, motor-planning activities, and specialized movement-based therapeutic approaches. We will teach you our methods. We are looking for someone who is excited to learn them and bring their own enthusiasm, creativity, and positive energy to the experience. Position & Growth Opportunity This is initially a part-time position , with the potential to add hours and grow toward a more full-time schedule for the right person.
