Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Assistant/Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to enrich the lives of residents in a senior living environment. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and facilitate a variety of recreational activities and resident events tailored to diverse interests and abilities. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility, hygiene, and personal care needs, ensuring dignity and respect at all times. Develop individualized activity plans that promote cognitive stimulation, social interaction, and physical activity for residents with memory care needs or disabilities. Build strong rapport with residents by engaging in meaningful conversations and understanding their personal histories and preferences. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment that encourages participation and fosters community spirit. Assist with schedule management for daily activities, ensuring smooth transitions and timely execution of planned events. Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or senior care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with working with geriatric patients, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring memory care is essential. Strong knowledge of dementia care principles, Alzheimer's disease progression, and aging issues counseling. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication purposes. Demonstrated ability to build rapport with residents while maintaining professionalism and compassion. Pay:

$9.00 - $10.50 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
