Immediately Job Description Southeast Valley Community School District is seeking a High School Wrestling Cheer Sponsor for the upcoming wrestling season. Position Summary The Wrestling Cheer Sponsor will lead and support the high school wrestling cheer program while providing students with a positive, encouraging, and team-oriented experience. Responsibilities Organize and lead wrestling cheer practices and activities. Teach and coordinate cheers, routines, and performances for wrestling events. Supervise and support student participants. Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, school spirit, and positive behavior. Coordinate with the wrestling coaching staff and Activities Director regarding schedules and events. Attend scheduled practices, wrestling meets, and other required activities. Ensure student safety and follow all Southeast Valley CSD activity policies and procedures. Serve as a positive role model and representative of Southeast Valley Community School District. Perform other duties related to the wrestling cheer program as assigned. Qualifications Previous cheerleading, coaching, or experience working with students preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively with students, coaches, staff, and families. Must be dependable and available for scheduled practices and wrestling events. Must meet all Southeast Valley CSD and Iowa requirements for extracurricular personnel. Position Details
