Activities Assistant | Part-time Are you a people person who loves to bring joy, creativity, and connection to others? We're looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Activities Assistant to help deliver engaging, meaningful programs that enrich the lives of our amazing residents! What You'll Do As our Activities Assistant, you'll support the Activities Director in planning and leading a variety of social, educational, cultural, and recreational activities. You'll help make sure every resident — from social butterflies to quiet creatives — feels included, inspired, and uplifted. You'll be part of a team that creates a vibrant, fun-filled atmosphere where laughter, learning, and friendship thrive every day.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
Assisting in planning and carrying out daily activities that meet residents' social, emotional, and physical needs. Helping facilitate group programs such as arts and crafts, music, games, fitness, and themed events. Providing one-on-one activities for residents who prefer or require individualized engagement. Encouraging residents to participate and helping them get to and from scheduled events. Supporting community outings, celebrations, and special programs. Keeping activity spaces neat, safe, and well-stocked with needed supplies. Collaborating with care teams to help tailor activities to individual care plans. Bringing energy, creativity, and compassion to everything you do!
