At Serenity Estates of Morris, we're dedicated to providing compassionate and patient-centered care to our residents. As an Activity Aide, you'll play a vital role in our team, creating engaging and meaningful experiences that promote socialization, mental stimulation, and overall wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
Assist with planning and implementing activities for residents, including arts and crafts projects, games, exercises, and outings Lead and facilitate group activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants Build relationships with residents and their families, understanding their interests and preferences Work collaboratively with other care team members to develop personalized activity plans Document activity participation and feedback from residents and families Perform light housekeeping duties and assist with setup and cleanup for activities
Requirements:
0 years of experience in the healthcare industry (new graduates are welcome to apply) High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing situations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
