Location:
Health and Wellness Center This position performs work under the direction of the UrVANa Unit Supervisor, Outreach and Wellness Coordinator and Outreach and Wellness Manager. The UrVANa Unit Leader is responsible for assisting the UrVANa Unit Supervisor with the development and implementation of the mobile recreation programming. This includes, but is not limited to instruction, coordination and supervision of programs, sports, performing and visual arts, outdoor and general programming for all ages. The UrVANa unit will travel citywide and provide equipment and instructional activities for community events, which include: arts and crafts, sport, environmental, wellness, and fitness activities. Paid planning, meeting, and shopping time may be required. The UrVANa unit Leader will promote the mission of "You Belong Here" of the Urbana Park District in action and spirit.
