Job Description
Job Overview Activities - Part-Time Hand-in-Hand Adult Day Center is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Co-Activities Leader to join our team! This is currently a part-time position, approximately 21-30 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours. The ideal candidate will genuinely enjoy working with older adults and adults with disabilities and will bring patience, kindness, flexibility, compassion, and a good sense of humor to their work. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships with our participants and helping create a fun, welcoming, and meaningful environment each day. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Planning, leading, and assisting with a variety of activities and programs Encouraging participant involvement and adapting activities to individual abilities and interests Assisting participants with activities of daily living, including eating, toileting, walking, and other personal care needs Providing support and encouragement while maintaining each participant's dignity and independence Assisting participants who use wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility equipment Helping maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment Working cooperatively with other staff members to provide quality, person-centered care
