Job Description

The Andover Recreation Division's Kid Care Program provides a safe, fun, and engaging after-school experience for children in Kindergarten through Grade 5 through games, activities, homework support, outdoor play, and enrichment opportunities. Group Leaders supervise and engage children, promote positive behavior, support daily activities, and help create a welcoming environment where every child can learn, grow, and have fun. The program operates at all five Andover elementary schools. We'll do our best to place staff at a preferred location, based on program needs and availability. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone interested in education, sports and recreation, or childcare, as well as those looking to develop their supervisory, management, and program-planning skills. Work Schedule Hours available Monday through Friday, with shifts generally available between 3:00/3:30 and 5:30/6:00 p.m. The program operates five days per week, with the flexibility to work the number of days that fits your schedule. Additional hours may be available during school vacations and the summer.
