This position is responsible for managing a small activity department and working with your team to plan, organize, and implement engaging activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and physical well-being with elderly and disabled adults. The ideal candidate will possess an outgoing, positive, compassionate nature and a strong commitment to having fun with our members. This job is on the day shift Monday through Friday and has some flexibility on hours between 7 and 3:30. Responsibilities Develop and implement a diverse range of recreational and therapeutic activities tailored to the interests and abilities of residents. Coordinate event planning, including scheduling, logistics, and resource management to ensure successful execution of activities. Work with team members to foster a supportive environment, engage with participants, encourage participation, and provide assistance as needed. Communicate effectively with participants, families, and staff regarding upcoming events. Maintain quarterly notes as required by department of public health.
