Part Time Join our creative and passionate recreation team at Berkshire Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Sandisfield! As an Activities Assistant, you will assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the recreation department to ensure that an ongoing program of activities designed to meet the interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident is maintained. 4p-8p shift with rotating weekends. Weekly pay is \$18 an hour. Berkshire Rehab is an all-male skilled nursing facility with a large veteran population. 16 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and run events and activities programming
• Build relationships with residents to tailor programming to their interests and desires
• Organize group and individual programming
• Generate ideas for exciting and engaging activities
• Encourage residents to participate in activities that stimulate their potential
• Assist with establishing resident care goals within the framework of the therapeutic team
• Document and report any unusual or significant findings
• Report all reportable events immediately

Requirements:

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent
