Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Responsibilities Assist with planning and facilitating daily resident activities and programs. Help organize games, arts and crafts, entertainment, social events, and special activities. Encourage residents to participate in activities and social events. Assist residents during activities while providing friendly and compassionate support. Help prepare activity areas, materials, and supplies. Build positive relationships with residents and encourage social interaction. Assist with special events, celebrations, and holiday programs. Support activities designed to promote residents' physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being. Work closely with the Activity Director and other members of the care team. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming activity environment. Follow facility policies and procedures and maintain appropriate documentation. Qualifications Previous experience working with seniors, healthcare, recreation, activities, or a similar setting preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, patient, and compassionate personality. Energetic and creative approach to working with residents. Ability to work effectively with residents with varying physical and cognitive abilities. Reliable, organized, and able to work as part of a team.
