•$35 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications CPR Certification Working with athletes Experience working with high schoolers Adult education AED Certification Full Job Description Overview Join the JTCC team as a Part-time Fitness Staff Professional! The Fitness Staff Professional will play an integral role in implementing and developing fitness programs for JTCC's athletes and members. Working with tennis players ages 8-17 across a range of training backgrounds, this role will be helping to design and deliver workouts. This role will also lead adult fitness classes and private lessons, and collaborate with our VP of Programming and Operations to develop fitness programming for adult members. This role will report to the Senior Director of Athlete Development and work fully onsite at our College Park facilities. Responsibilities Aid in the design of workouts that improve athletic fundamentals for athletes Conduct fitness test with players and track their progress and results over the course of a season Lead group warm ups and cool down Monitor player form and techniques during exercises to prevent injury and ensure quality training Manage attendance logs and equipment during sessions Lead adult group classes and private lessons for members Work with the VP of Programming and Operations to build out fitness programming for adult members Qualifications Nationally accredited fitness certification or ability to obtain on within 90 days of being hired required Current CPR/AED certification required USTA Safe Play approval required Prior experience working with athletes with varying athletic ability preferred Experience with adult and group fitness classes Ability to work Tuesday

•Friday from 3 pm

•7 pm and weekend flexibility required. Availability in mornings to for adult group fitness classes preferred. Location This role will be working fully onsite at our facilities at College Park, MD.

Pay:

$25.00

•$35.00 per hour
