We are seeking a creative, energetic, and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our life enrichment team. In this role, you won't just be "planning events"-you'll be creating moments of joy, maintaining the dignity of our residents, and ensuring that our facility feels like a vibrant community. As an Activities Assistant you will: +

Lead & Implement:

Execute a daily schedule of activities including music, arts and crafts, exercise classes, games, and religious services. +

One-on-One Engagement:

Provide meaningful bedside visits for residents who may be unable to attend group functions. +

Innovation:

Contribute new ideas for monthly calendars that cater to diverse cognitive and physical abilities (including memory care). +

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress as required by state and federal regulations. +

Safety First:

Assist in the safe transport of residents to and from activity areas. What We're Looking For + The "Vibe": A "people person" who is patient, upbeat, and empathetic toward the elderly and those with dementia. +

Communication:

Ability to speak clearly and engage with residents, families, and staff professionally. +

Reliability:

Long-term care requires consistency; our residents thrive on seeing familiar faces. +

Experience:

Prior experience in a nursing home, assisted living, or memory care setting is a major plus, but we are willing to train the right personality!
