Job Description

Activity Assistant Bay City, Michigan Hampton Nursing and Rehab a leading provider of long-term care and related health services, is seeking a dedicated Activity Assistant to join our team. Our mission is to provide quality daily enrichment for our patients/residents, and we're looking for a compassionate and skilled individual to help us achieve this goal.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Activities Director in planning, developing, and implementing activities that enrich the lives of our residents/patients Invite and encourage all residents/patients to participate in programs and conduct "Meet and Greet" at the beginning of each program Facilitate activities and be always aware of the needs of our residents/patients Assemble, erect, dismantle, and store equipment and supplies used in the recreation program Perform record keeping, attention to the environment, use of supplies and equipment, and maintenance of storage areas
Requirements:
Ability to effectively communicate with patients and other staff Ability to work part-time with potential PTO and health benefits Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
