In this role, you'll help create a fun, safe, and engaging environment where kids can learn, play, and grow. This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys working with children and being active outdoors.
Pay Rate:
$13.73-$15.00 per hour
Schedule:
Minimum of 25 hours per week for 12 weeks
Dates:
June 1, 2026 - August 21, 2026

www.dewittrecreation.org Key Responsibilities Lead and participate in daily camp activities, ensuring campers are safe and having fun Organize and run games, crafts, and structured activities for various age groups Encourage positive behavior, teamwork, and inclusion among campers Support campers' social development and help resolve conflicts appropriately Follow all safety procedures and provide basic first aid when needed Work collaboratively with other staff to deliver a high-quality camp experience Keep camp areas clean, organized, and ready for activities Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate Ability to work well with others in a team setting Reliable transportation Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Positive attitude, dependable, and enthusiastic Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required Why Join Us?
