You'll support activities and experiences designed around the interests, abilities, and preferences of the residents we serve.
Your responsibilities may include:
Assisting with group activities, events, games, crafts, music, celebrations, and other recreational programs Spending one-on-one time with residents to encourage engagement and connection Supporting residents in pursuing hobbies, interests, and activities they enjoy Helping create a welcoming, fun, and inclusive environment Encouraging resident independence and honoring individual preferences and choices Building positive relationships with residents, families, team members, and visitors Assisting with the setup, coordination, and cleanup of activities and events Observing residents and communicating needs, concerns, or changes appropriately Helping ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion at all times Following company policies, safety procedures, and applicable state and federal guidelines Participating in required training and educational programs The ideal candidate is someone who: Has a positive, energetic, and engaging personality Enjoys working with seniors and making a difference in their day Is creative and enjoys finding new ways to bring people together Has strong communication and customer service skills Is dependable, compassionate, and a supportive team member Respects each resident's individuality, preferences, and right to make personal choices Can bring enthusiasm, patience, and a caring attitude to work every day Has previous experience with activities, recreation, customer service, or senior living (preferred, but not required) At Brookridge Heights, you'll have the opportunity to do more than just plan activities—you'll help create moments that matter.
