Job Description

Americare Lodges is looking for a creative, dependable, and energetic Activities Coordinator to help create fun, meaningful experiences for our residents. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule , with opportunities for additional hours during holidays and special events.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain the monthly activity calendar Plan and lead a variety of fun, meaningful, and engaging activities Plan and coordinate resident outings and community activities Attend outings with residents Provide transportation for activities when needed Must be 21+ to drive residents under our facility's vehicle insurance Provide a list of activity supplies and needs before the beginning of each month Stay within the assigned activity budget Decorate for holidays, birthdays, and special events Encourage resident participation while considering individual interests and abilities Communicate with management and staff regarding upcoming activities and resident needs
What We're Looking For:
Someone who enjoys working with older adults Creative, energetic, and positive personality Reliable and organized Able to work independently and manage a flexible schedule Good communication skills Previous experience in senior living, activities, recreation, or a similar setting is preferred but not required
Flexible Schedule:
This position offers flexibility in scheduling activities and work hours. Activities must be planned in advance and reflected on the monthly calendar once posted. Additional hours may be available for holidays, special events, and outings. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 32.0 per week
