Job Description

Gymnastics Assistant (School Year 2026-2027) Instruct and assist with preschool and youth gymnastics programs in a safe environment. Curriculum provided for part-time positions. Training provided prior to program start. Programs run September through May. Programs are held on Saturdays. Must be available to work 3 out of 4 Saturdays each month . No programs are held on holiday weekends.
Preschool and Youth Programs:
Lead, coach and spot advancing gymnasts with tumbling and gymnastic skills based on age level.
Preschool Program:
Lead and spot preschool students with basic movement and tumbling skills. Plan, organize and direct activities for all ages in a recreation setting. Provide support, as needed, for all participants and staff to create an inclusive environment. Work as part of a team to ensure quality programs for all ages. Follow staff policies and procedures. Ensure all staff and participants follow the established policies and procedures. Provide a safe, fun and appropriate experience of all participants. Must be 14 years old by program start date Previous experience with gymnastics or dance experience desired, but will train Previous experience working with youth desired.
