Activity Assistant Currently One Opening! St. William's Living Center Established in 1963, St. William's Living Center is a five-star care community located in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota. We're looking for a compassionate, energetic Activity Assistant to help create meaningful experiences for our residents. From bingo and baking to outings, exercise programs, and special events, you'll play an important role in helping residents stay engaged, connected, and enjoying life every day. Starting wage of $17.00 per hour Five-star rated community Supportive team environment Excellent resident-to-staff ratios Make a meaningful difference in residents' lives every day Employee referral bonus program Competitive benefits package What You'll Do Assist with planning and leading group and one-on-one activities Prepare and facilitate programs such as bingo, baking, games, exercise groups, crafts, music, and special events Encourage resident participation and provide support during activities Assist with community outings and special trips Work with residents living with dementia through engaging, person-centered activities Transport residents and assist with mobility as needed Collaborate with nursing and care staff to meet residents' social, emotional, and physical needs Document participation and communicate resident concerns appropriately Requirements Compassionate, patient, and dependable Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff Ability to lift, push, and assist residents as needed Previous experience in activities, healthcare, or customer service preferred but not required Must pass a criminal background check through the State of Minnesota Must be 18 years of age or older Valid driver's license Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) and ESST beginning on Day 1
