St. Cloud Park & Recreation is recruiting a positive, enthusiastic individual who is knowledgeable in volleyball to serve as an Adult Sports League Coordinator. As an adult league coordinator, you will build connections with our community members while providing an opportunity for adults to get active and make memories. Competitive Pay Make a Difference in the Community Pay $17-20 per hour Pay rate based on qualifications and experience Part-Time, Seasonal, Not Benefit Eligible Hours of Work Hours include evenings and weekends. Hours based on program needs. Hours may be limited by inclement weather. Typical Duties Performed Setup courts as necessary. Creating volleyball league schedules - single and doubleheader leagues. Maintain inventory and advise the Program Coordinator of any equipment needed. Assist Programming Coordinator with the creation and distribution of marketing materials. Record and post results into league management system. Communicate with team managers and players through mailings, email, and telephone. Educate on and enforce all park and recreation facility rules, regulations, and policies, maintaining a consistent discipline policy for all teams, managers, players, spectators. Assist Program Coordinator with the ordering of trophies, T-shirts, and equipment. Take appropriate actions to ensure the safety of all participants by preventing and responding to emergencies. Complete any necessary records and reports. Clean office area and/or restrooms. Open and close the facility safely and securely. Make decisions in an effective and efficient manner. Attend weekly meetings with Programming Coordinator. Show professionalism in all aspects of the job. Maintain confidentiality with co-workers, participants, and the public. Job seekers should be age 18 or older Current CPR-AED/First Aid certifications or will to be certified Knowledge and interest in volleyball, and the rules that govern it Knowledge of volleyball court setup Knowledge of basic tournament brackets Evening & weekend availability Ability to lift/move 50 pounds Ability to complete tasks without supervision Leadership, decision-making, and public relations skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel Here's what staff members have said about working at
