Job Description

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a respected healthcare organization in Helena, MT to identify an experienced and motivated Physical Therapy Supervisor for an Outpatient Sports Rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity to combine hands-on patient care with leadership responsibilities while helping shape a collaborative, high-performing therapy program.
Schedule:
Full-Time | 1.0 FTE | Day Shift What You'll Do Assist the Department Director with the daily operations of a busy outpatient physical therapy clinic Maintain a balanced role with approximately 75-85% direct patient care with 15-25% leadership and supervisory responsibilities Supervise, mentor, and support outpatient Physical Therapists Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with PT Staff and collaborate with Department Director on annual performance evaluations Lead team meetings and delegate projects that support departmental goals Partner with leadership to strengthen relationships with physicians, referral sources, and the community Foster collaboration across therapy teams and club management to enhance the patient experience Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and evidence-based practice standards Serve as a positive leader focused on quality outcomes and service excellence Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and orienting new Physical Therapists Contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, equipment recommendations, and program development Meet bi-monthly with the Department Director to monitor budget & discuss short-term plans Coordinate student internships and observation experiences Help resolve operational challenges while supporting productivity goals Coach and support staff in achieving professional development goals and advancing clinical excellence What We're Looking For Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist Demonstrated expertise in delivering high-quality, evidence-based outpatient care Experience with staff supervision, program development, and community outreach Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Montana or eligibility to obtain licensure Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
