Job Description ECU Department of Athletics:
Strength & Conditioning is currently seeking several Fueling Station Managers that will report directly to the Director of Sports Nutrition. The Sports Nutrition Fueling Station Managers will work closely with Sports Dietitians to deliver pre and post training fuel to the athletes at East Carolina University. They will comply with all protocols to optimize the health, well being, and performance of ECU's student athletes. Roles and Responsibilities Monitor and stock inventory of Fueling Stations Track inventory of food usage weekly Maintain a sanitary and clean environment for student athletes by following written food safety protocols Manage and execute smoothie making for post-training recovery Interact with student athletes and be available to answer questions or direct the athletes to appropriate resources Assist Director of Sports Nutrition with providing fuel before, during, and after competition of specified teams Assist with the development of effective nutrition education for handouts and presentations Work as an integrative member of the ECU Sports Nutrition team to support the Mission and Vision of ECU Sports Nutrition and Athletics. Knowledge of NCAA and American Conference rules, regulations, and policies Other duties as assigned by the Director of Sports Nutrition GPA Requirement Minimum of 2.0 Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.) Ability to work early, late and/or weekends At least 1 semester as a sports nutrition volunteer Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, time and priority management and ability to work as a supportive team member toward the goals of the ECU Sports Nutrition Department Be able to lift/carry objects up to 30lbs License/certification required Special Instructions to Applicant Please upload your resume online.
