Parks and Recreation Summer Camp Senior Counselor

Parks and Recreation Senior Camp Counselor 40 Hour Position Seeking upbeat summer camp senior counselor for Boscawen Parks and Recreation Program. The ideal staff member loves working with children and displays initiative and enthusiasm for creating a safe, caring, fun, and interactive environment for them. Interaction with children and the safety of the children is the number one priority, however, staff will also be interacting with parents, and some light cleaning is required as well. Summer Parks & Recreation Counselor is responsible for supervising and providing a safe and fun environment for the children attending the Summer Park Program. Senior Camp Counselor will assist in guiding counselors with their responsibilities and ensuring the safety of campers. In the absence of the Summer Camp Director the Senior Camp Counselor will be responsible for the operations of the camp and will provide direct supervision to the Camp Counselors. Punctuality, positive attitude, flexibility, teamwork, and willingness to follow direction from supervising staff is a must. Staff need to be Child/Infant CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification within 30 days of hire. Must dress appropriately and be ready to engage in physical activities each day weather permitting. Minimum of 18 years old and must be available to work June 22nd - August 14th

Part Time/Temporary Required experience: Camp counselor 2-5 years and/or equivalent experience working with children.

Starting Hourly Pay:

$16.34
