Heath Village is a constantly growing and unique retirement community providing multiple levels of housing and healthcare for close to 400 residents and is located on a 100+ acre campus. Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and therapeutic activities for residentsEngage residents in activities, ensuring their participation and enjoyment while providing support as neededMaintain a safe and clean environment for all activities, adhering to health and safety regulationsDocument resident participation and feedback to help evaluate the effectiveness of programsCollaborate with other staff members to coordinate special events and outings for residentsThe ability to work collaboratively with other staff members enhances the overall effectiveness of the activities offered.
Experience in planning and leading group activities.
Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals in a care setting
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalentStrong communication, interpersonal abilities and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Certification in recreational therapy or a related field.Experience in planning and leading group activities.
