Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator 8:30 AM
  • 5 PM | Assisted Living | Medford, NJ $18.20

83 per hour (based on experience) As the Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator, you will directly engage with residents in our continuing care retirement community, assessing their individual interests and designing activity programs tailored to their social and educational needs. This role also entails maintaining records, conducting resident assessments, completing MDS documentation, progress notes, and developing activity calendars. Additionally, the Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator may occasionally be required to safely transport residents to and from their scheduled activities using the organization's designated vehicle. Requirements Qualified candidates for this role should either hold certification as an Activity Director, have the ability to obtain certification, or be eligible for grandfathering into the position. Additionally, candidates must possess a valid driver's license with a clean record, a minimum of 3 years' experience in therapeutic recreation, and demonstrate outstanding abilities in planning, organization, and interpersonal communication.
