Full Job Description Job Overview:
Moxie Fit is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and dependable Youth Fitness Program Coordinator to help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging experience for children and families participating in our New Jersey based youth fitness programs. This role combines customer service, program coordination, and administrative support. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, communicates professionally with parents, stays organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You will play an important role in ensuring our programs run smoothly while supporting both our instructors and business operations. Program Support Arrive prior to scheduled classes to help ensure the fitness space is prepared and ready for participants. Assist instructors with setting up fitness equipment, activity stations, cones, mats, and other class materials. Confirm that the workout area is clean, organized, and free of potential safety hazards before participants enter. Make sure all necessary equipment and program materials are available for the instructor prior to the start of class. Assist instructors during classes by helping to manage equipment, keeping children engaged, and supporting a safe learning environment. Clean and organize equipment and the fitness space following each class. Support special program activities, fitness challenges, events, workshops, and family fitness programs as needed. Communicate class-related concerns, incidents, supply needs, or operational issues to the instructor and/or business owner. Work collaboratively with instructors to help classes begin and end on time and create a positive experience for children and families. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate attendance records using company spreadsheets and tracking systems. Respond promptly and professionally to parent inquiries regarding classes and registration. Send class reminders, schedule updates, announcements, and other communications via email. Process and confirm new class registrations. Assist with organizing participant records and maintaining program documentation. Safety & Professionalism Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all participants. Follow company policies regarding child supervision, emergency procedures, confidentiality, and participant safety. Report any concerns involving participant safety or program operations to the owner immediately. Represent Moxie Fit NYC professionally while interacting with families, community partners, and staff. Qualifications (Required) Friendly, energetic, and professional personality. Enjoys working with children and families. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable using email, Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Google Sheets). Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to lift and move fitness equipment up to approximately 25 pounds. Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends. Preferred Experience working with children in fitness, education, recreation, childcare, camps, or youth programs. CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Experience in customer service or administrative support. Interest in health, fitness, wellness, or youth development.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Application Question(s): Are you CPR certified or open to obtaining one upon hire? Are you available to work Saturday mornings?
